Washed the 6. It was filthy with ocean air grime. Being parked next to the beach for a week will do that. I did cheat and have the local car wash do the interior, though. They remove the rubber floor mats, wash them, and vacuum the floor and seats. For $5.00. How could I not? They don’t do a perfect job by any means, but it’s serviceable enough for a daily driver.
There were crushed Fruit Loops and yogurt melts everywhere from the drive to Florida and back with my toddler son. And sand from our beachy feet. I wasn’t in the mood to mess with it.
I also brought Jolene the Sunbird out of the garage for the first time in three or so weeks today. Drove about 45 or so miles through some deserted country backroads here in Kentucky. Visited the cemeteries where my great aunt and my mom and dad are buried, had lunch at my favorite small-town café, and just cruised with no real destination in mind.
It was great. The perfect weather today helped a lot. It’s sunny and 70°. My favorite.
Basically , I just did whatever I could to keep my mind off of the fact that I have to go back to work tomorrow. Damn.

I’ve just had three nights off, didn’t do anything.
Haven’t washed Sandy in ages, been ill and washing other people’s cars.
I've some Adam's mat and liner cleaner and restorer, hopefully arriving tomorrow.
